  • Check for the following file in your C:\ drive location, “directory C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Driver\8\Intel 32”.

  • If they are present, then run “regsvr32” on all the files available except, “_ISRES1033.dll and Idriver.exe” and run “idriver/regserver”.

  • When the Run dialog box appears, then in the Search field, type “regedit”.
  • The “Windows Registry” window will open on your computer screen.
  • Browse to the location “HKEY_Classes_Root\Installer\UpgradeCodes” and left-click on the “UpgradeCodes”
  • With the option of “File \ Export”, export the “UpgradeCodes” folder via the Selected Branch export range.
  • Rename the UpgradeCodesfolder to UpgradeCodesOld.
  • You will have to install Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 manually.
  • With the option of “File \ Import”, import the exported “UpgradeCodes”
  • Now you will have to launch the Sage ACT! Installation process.
